The Project Team is pleased to announce that the majority of the Countryside Zoning By-law, By-law 2022-053, is now in force and effect! The Zoning By-law, as approved by Council on September 26, 2022, was appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) by 17 parties.

The Township has been successful in scoping the appeals to bring most of the By-law into effect. Some zones, provisions, and schedules remain under appeal on either a site/area-specific or Township-wide basis. An annotated version of the Countryside Zoning By-law and Schedule A of the By-law are available in the Document Library. The Decision of the OLT regarding the approval of the un-appealed portions of Zoning By-law 2022-053, issued August 1, 2023, is also available in the Document Library.
