Public Information Centre #3 will be held at Zancor Centre on Sept. 25

The Township of King is undertaking an update to the 2020 Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Over the course of the project, we have engaged with the public and identified stakeholders to provide input on the direction, processes, and outcomes of the TMP. One of the main goals of the TMP is to continue to support a growing population and economy and promote a variety of travel modes.

At this third Public Information Centre (PIC), we welcome anyone to attend and learn about the Transportation Master Plan project. At this meeting, we will:

• Provide an overview of the TMP study and development process;
• Share key feedback received from PIC #1 and PIC #2;
• Share the evaluation of the five network alternatives and the preliminary recommendations;
• Seek feedback on recommended active transportation strategy update and related transportation policies for the TMP;
• Gather feedback on the phasing of the recommendations, future studies, any associated costs, and what the Township's role will be; and
• Identify next steps in the TMP study process.

Time and Location

This will be a 'Drop-In' style session without in-person formal presentations. An online presentation will be available for review before the meeting. Attendees can ask questions and provide feedback at their own pace.
