King Township has almost completed a review of the water and wastewater systems in King City, Nobleton, Schomberg and Ansnorveldt. The review is needed to ensure the water and wastewater systems are to handle the growth anticipated and outlined in the Township's new Official Plan. The end result of this review will be a new Water/Wastewater Master Servicing Plan (MSP).

King to host first virtual Public Consultation Centre May 25
Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link13 May 2020Public consultation is a key component of the Class EA process. The recommended Master Plan was previously presented to the public. Since then, King has completed a new Official Plan and has since reviewed this in the context of the Water/Wastewater Master Plan. We would like to invite you to participate in a Public Consultation Centre (PCC) to re-familiarize yourself with the preferred servicing solutions.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we are conducting the public consultation as a virtual webinar format. At the virtual PCC, you will have an opportunity to ask us questions, share your thoughts and opinions. Your input will help ensure there is adequate water and wastewater infrastructure in place for your community that can also support mandated growth in King Township. Your participation in PCCs is important to us.
Public wishing to participate in the session can do so in three different ways:
1. Participate online: A live webinar format will be established for this purpose. Details will be provided at a later date on this webpage.
2. Review independently: You can also request the presentation materials be mailed to you and you can send questions or comments by phone or by email.
Further details will be available at http://www.king.ca/WaterMasterPlans.
