Don't Forget! Upcoming Engagement Opportunities

The Project Team is excited for the upcoming Community Open Houses for the Doctors Lane and Old King Road Neighbourhood Plans Study. The Open Houses on September 10 and September 12 will provide an opportunity to learn about how the Plans have progressed since the April engagement sessions, provide input on the draft concept plans, and to contribute towards the future of these two key areas of the Township.

The Open Houses will also include the presentation of the Conceptual Plan Storymap which has been prepared for both Study Areas. The Storymap has been informed by the final Background and Directions Report and provides a breakdown of key components of each conceptual Neighbourhood Plans based on what was heard through the previous engagement sessions.

Doctors Lane Neighbourhood

Date: Tuesday September 10, 2024

Time: Drop in between 6pm and 8pm, with a presentation at 6:30pm

Old King Road Neighbourhood

Date: Thursday September 12, 2024

Time: Drop in between 6pm and 8pm, with a presentation at 6:30pm

Location: Arena Hall, Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Community Centre & Arena, 15 Old King Road, Nobleton

To continue the conversation beyond the Open Houses, the draft conceptual Neighbourhood Plans are also scheduled to be presented to Council on September 23, 2024. To participate in the Council Meeting, watch the presentation or submit comments visit: https://www.king.ca/meetings. The Project Team has also prepared Surveys on the draft concepts for Doctors Lane and Old King Road to request additional thoughts and ideas on the Plans. Please complete the surveys by September 27, 2024 to provide your input on the draft concept Plans.
